Workshops & Lectures

Naser Musa has been teaching Oud, Arabic singing, and Arabic music theory for the last fifteen years. He continues to give lectures and workshops at universities and culture centers throughout the United States. Naser Musa’s areas of specializations include Khaliji music (music of the Arabian golf countries) and Bedouin music.

Naser Musa has developed an easy method of teaching Oud, using ear training as well as music theory and notation to develop a better feel for the different styles of Arabic music, articulations, and improvisations.

Naser Musa’s knowledge of the different Arabic dialects and the subtle differences of styles as well as the ability to ornament and embellish make him a great source for teaching Arabic songs and vocal articulations, and explaining all the traditional and cultural aspect to these songs.
